Velo9 is led by John Buccola (JB), who has served as CIO three times across portfolio companies backed by KKR, EQT, and Cerberus. He founded an IoT startup backed by Wyndham and co-founded an IT optimization practice that sold to private equity. MIT has recognized his work in machine learning. Microsoft awarded him for advanced analytics.
JB is an active full stack developer who still ships code. He leads every engagement directly and brings in specialized builders as the work requires. No account managers, no handoffs to junior staff.
